CRITICAL — Please read this section carefully:
Crownhills Tourism acts as a facilitator and coordinator between the traveller and various service providers (hotels, airlines, transport companies, adventure activity operators, local guides, etc.).
WE DO NOT DIRECTLY OWN OR OPERATE hotels, aircraft, buses, cabs, boats, or adventure equipment. All such services are provided by independent third-party contractors.
By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree that:
a) Accidents and Injuries: Crownhills Tourism, its owners, employees, tour managers, and agents shall NOT be held responsible or liable for any accident, injury, illness, death, delay, inconvenience, loss, damage, or any other incident occurring during the tour — including but not limited to:
- Road accidents involving vehicles hired for the tour
- Air, rail, or water transport accidents
- Slips, falls, drowning, altitude sickness, or medical emergencies
- Injuries during adventure activities (rafting, paragliding, trekking, skiing, camel/elephant rides, zip-lining, water sports, etc.)

b) Loss or Theft: Crownhills Tourism is NOT responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings — including luggage, cash, jewellery, electronics, passports, or documents — at any point during the tour (hotels, transit, sightseeing, activities).
c) Third-Party Services: We are not liable for any negligence, misconduct, deficiency in service, or accident caused by third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, transport, guides, adventure operators). Any complaints regarding such services should be addressed directly to the concerned service provider, though we will assist where possible.
d) Delays and Missed Connections: We are not liable for delays, missed flights/trains, or resulting losses caused by traffic, weather, mechanical failures, or events beyond our control.
e) Maximum Liability: In no event shall Crownhills Tourism’s total liability exceed the amount paid by the traveller for the specific tour in question. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
f) Assumption of Risk: The traveller acknowledges that travel — especially to remote areas, high altitudes, adventure destinations, and international locations — involves inherent risks. By booking, you voluntarily assume all such risks.
g) Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crownhills Tourism, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your actions, omissions, or violations during the tour.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND ALL TRAVELLERS TO PURCHASE COMPREHENSIVE TRAVEL INSURANCE COVERING MEDICAL, ACCIDENT, TRIP CANCELLATION, AND LOSS OF BELONGINGS BEFORE THE TOUR.
- FORCE MAJEURE
Crownhills Tourism shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, cyclones, landslides, avalanches)
- Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies (like COVID-19)
- War, terrorist attacks, riots, or civil unrest
- Government restrictions, curfews, or border closures
- Strikes, lockouts, or transportation shutdowns
- Fire, explosion, or extreme weather conditions
- Any act of God
In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the tour or offer alternatives. Refunds (if any) shall be based on the actual recoverable amounts from hotels, airlines, and other service providers — after deducting non-refundable expenses.
- TRAVEL INSURANCE
- Travel insurance is NOT included in our tour packages unless explicitly mentioned.
- We STRONGLY RECOMMEND all travellers — especially for adventure tours, high-altitude destinations, and international travel — to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Medical emergencies and hospitalization
- Accident and personal injury
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Loss of baggage and documents
- Emergency evacuation
- For international tours, travel insurance is MANDATORY for visa applications in many countries.
- Crownhills Tourism can assist in recommending insurance providers, but the purchase decision and terms are entirely between the traveller and the insurance company.
- VISA AND DOCUMENTATION
- For international tours, obtaining a valid visa is the sole responsibility of the traveller.
- We assist with visa documentation guidance but do NOT guarantee visa approval.
- Visa rejection by any embassy/consulate does NOT entitle the traveller to a full refund. Cancellation charges (as per Section 3) will apply.
- The traveller must ensure that their passport has a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of return.
- Any incorrect information provided that leads to travel denial, immigration issues, or deportation is entirely the traveller’s responsibility.
- CHANGES TO ITINERARY
- Crownhills Tourism reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, road closures, monument closures, political situations, etc.).
- We will make every effort to provide equivalent alternatives, but no refund will be given for missed sightseeing due to such changes.
- Hotel accommodations may be changed to equivalent or superior categories based on availability.
- Departure dates or times may be adjusted with prior notice to travellers.
- LUGGAGE AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS
- Travellers are responsible for the safe custody of their personal belongings at all times.
- Standard luggage allowance: 1 suitcase (15 kg) + 1 hand baggage (7 kg) per person for domestic tours; airline rules apply for international tours.
- Excess baggage charges (if any) are to be paid directly by the traveller.
- We recommend keeping valuables (cash, jewellery, passport, electronics) with you at all times — not in checked-in luggage or hotel rooms.
- PHOTOGRAPHS AND MEDIA
- Photographs and videos taken during the tour by our tour manager, guides, or fellow travellers may be used for promotional purposes on our website, social media (Instagram, Facebook), and marketing materials.
- If you do NOT wish to be featured in such content, please inform your tour manager in writing at the start of the tour.
- By participating in the tour, you consent to reasonable use of your images unless you have opted out.
- GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
- Any complaint or dispute must be raised in writing within 30 days of the tour completion for consideration.
